The wall of the bladder is protected by a layer of molecules called proteoglycans, also called glycosaminoglycans (GAG). Underneath the GAG layer is a layer of cells called the urothelium. In certain bladder conditions such as IC / PBS, both of the layers can be disrupted. Once they feel the trigger by an insult in the bladder, they send the message to the submucosa, the layer right behind the urothelial cell that is rich in nerves and mast cells. Activated mast cells release histamine and cytokines in the blood, which can lead to chronic bladder irritation, pain, frequency and urgency.

INGREDIENTS: Each serving (1 capsule) contains 600 mg of freeze-dried, organic aloe vera powder, 20 mg of calcium carbonate (to raise the pH of the aloe), and 3 mg of silicon dioxide (a naturally occurring earth mineral) as a drying agent.
DIRECTIONS: As a dietary supplement, take one to three capsules twice a day or as directed by a qualified healthcare provider.
